On January 17, 2017 Hampton Township Police responded to Amleth Drive for a report of smoke filling a house. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the homeowner had closed the damper on the fireplace the night prior, and the embers had rekindled and filled the house with smoke. The fire department cleaned out the fireplace and ventilated the home.
