On January 28, 2017 at 1:18 a.m., Hampton Township officers responded to South Pioneer Road for a single vehicle accident. The accident occurred when the operator of the involved vehicle attempted to stop at an intersection, but due to icy road conditions, was unable to stop and entered a yard on South Pioneer Road, running over a tree. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
