On January 28, 2017 at 2:57 a.m., a Hampton Township officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle, on Sample Road for multiple traffic violations. The driver was operating the vehicle at a high rate of speed, as well as failing to maintain a single lane of travel. The driver showed signs of impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI.
