On April 3, 2017 at 7:40 p.m., Hampton Township Police were notified by a resident from Shadowrock Court of a phone scam. The resident answered their phone and the caller stated "Can you hear me now?" The resident responded "Yes" and the caller immediately hung up the phone. The resident was advised that this is a common phone scam, in which the caller will use the recorded affirmation for fraudulent charges.
