On May 20, 2017 at 2:46 p.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to Mount Royal Blvd. for a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the vehicle crashed into a telephone pole, nearly shearing it in half. Duquesne Light Co. was notified of the damage to the pole and responded to the scene. The vehicle had to be towed due to sustained damage.
