On July 29, 2017 at 2:38 a.m., a Hampton Township officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle, on East Hardies Road, after observing the vehicle weaving out of it's lane of travel and striking a curb. Upon making contact with the driver, the officer observed visible signs of impairment. The driver was unable to complete field sobriety tests as were explained and demonstrated by the officer, and was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI.
