On September 15, 2017 at 5:34 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of Anderson Drive, near Route 8, for a vehicle that was reported to be operated by a possibly intoxicated person. The reporting party stated that the vehicle was being operated very slowly, and was all over the roadway. An officer intercepted the vehicle on Route 8, at Oxford Blvd., and observed the vehicle to be driven very slowly and was swerving. Upon making contact with the driver, they showed obvious signs of impairment. The driver was unable to complete field sobriety tests as had been explained and demonstrated to them and was placed under arrest for DUI.
