On January 2, 2018 at 11:51 a.m., Hampton Police were dispatched to the area of Route 8 and McCully Road for a two vehicle accident. Upon arrival, it was determined that the crash occurred when the operator of one vehicle attempted to pull out of McCully Road onto Route 8 and collided with an oncoming northbound vehicle. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
