On January 15, 2018 at 2:09 a.m., a Hampton Township officer initiated a traffic stop on Route 8 after observing two vehicles speeding and driving carelessly. Upon making contact with the operator of one of the involved vehicles, the officer detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The operator was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
