On November 11, 2014 at 6:47pm Officers were dispatched to the area of Rt 8 northbound at Mt Royal Blvd for an erratic driver. A Hampton Police Officer located the vehicle matching the description given and observed it driving erratically and almost struck the curb twice. The vehicle was stopped on Rt 8 near Home Depot and the driver showed signs of being intoxicated. The driver was given several field sobriety tests and subsequently arrested for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence.
