On August 20, 2018 at 10:11 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Hardt Road for a two vehicle accident. Upon the officer's arrival on scene, he observed the two involved vehicles parked in the roadway. One occupant was laying on the side of the road bleeding from multiple extremities. The accident occurred when one vehicle was stopped due to an active construction zone, and was rear ended by the other vehicle. The injured driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance. One vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
