On September 12, 2018 at 8:42 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to McCully Road for a vehicle that was reported to be on fire. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle with the engine compartment on fire. The operator stated that they had just started the vehicle and smelled smoke, so they immediately turned the vehicle off. The vehicle's engine compartment caught fire, and was extinguished by Hampton Township Fire Department. The vehicle was then towed from the scene.
