On October 12, 2018 at 4:44 p.m., a Hampton Township officer came upon a two vehicle accident on Route 8. The operators stated that the accident occurred when the operator of one vehicle took their attention off of the roadway for a moment and rear-ended the other vehicle. One of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damage.
