On November 29, 2018 at 10:45 p.m., a Hampton Township officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 8 after observing multiple traffic violations. Upon making contact with the driver, the operator showed signs of impairment and was asked to submit to field sobriety tests. The operator was unable to complete the tests as had been explained and demonstrated and was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
