On January 12, 2019 at 8:08 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to West Hardies Road for a vehicle that had slid off of the roadway. The accident occurred during a period of poor weather conditions, which resulted in the roads being covered in snow and ice. Due to the position of the vehicle, which had slid over a small hillside, the fire department responded to the scene to assist in extricating the occupants of the vehicle. The involved vehicle was towed from the scene.
