On April 8, 2019 at 4:00 p.m., a Hampton Township officer was in the area of Middle Road, at Cedar Ridge Road, when he observed a two vehicle accident. One vehicle turned directly in front of the other, which resulted in the collision. One vehicle also struck a utility pole and knocked over a stop sign. Duquesne Light Co. and PennDot were notified of the property damage. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
