On June 1, 2019 at 6:04 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Lucy Drive for an underground transformer that was reported to be on fire. The responding officer observed a large amount of smoke coming from the transformer in question. Hampton Township Fire units were dispatched to the scene. Duquense Light Co. responded, and the fire had extinguished prior to their arrival.
