On June 2, 2019 at 4:38 p.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Wildwood Road Extension, at Talley Cavey Road, for a two vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers spoke to both operators, who stated that the accident occurred when one vehicle was stopped at a stop sign. The other operator failed to stop their car and struck the other vehicle from behind. One operator showed visible signs of impairment. The operator failed to complete field sobriety tests as had been explained and demonstrated and was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
