On November 30, 2014 at 6:27 pm Hampton Twp Police responded to the 5000 block of Rt. 8 for a single vehicle crash into a utility pole. Upon arrival, the operator was out of the vehicle. He was complaining of chest and wrist pain. He was later transported to UPMC Passavant Hospital by Hampton EMS. Hampton VFD was on scene to assist. Duquesne Light Co. was notified to respond to the scene due to the damage to the pole.
