On September 30, 2019 at 6:40 a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of West Hardies Road, at South Pioneer Road, for a single vehicle accident. Upon the responding officer's arrival, they located a disabled vehicle resting against a guide rail at that location. The operator stated that they were traveling north on South Pioneer Road. As the operator approached the intersection, they applied their vehicle's brakes, which resulted in the vehicle hydroplaning and striking the guide rail, causing disabling damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
