On October 3, 2019 at 8:14 p.m., a Hampton Township officer responded to the area of Hemlock Drive and Sample Road for multiple calls regarding a vehicle that was reported to be driving erratically. The responding officer was able to locate the vehicle and observed traffic violations. A traffic stop was initiated, and upon making contact with the operator, the officer observed visual signs of impairment. The operator then failed to complete field sobriety tests as had been explained and demonstrated and was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
