On November 15, 2019 at 1:48 p.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Route 8 for a two vehicle accident. The accident occurred when one vehicle was traveling south on Route 8 in the curb lane, and was slowing down to turn into a driveway, when it was rear-ended. One operator was transported to the hospital by ambulance due to sustained injuries. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to disabling damage.
