On November 22, 2019 at 8:06 a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Route 8 for a three vehicle crash. Upon arrival, one operator complained of injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The accident occurred when two vehicles were stopped in the roadway, one in the curb lane, and one in the passing lane, due to a school bus that was stopped with its red lights flashing. A third vehicle was traveling around a bend in the roadway and was unable to come to a stop in time. This concluded in a rear-end collision involving the other two vehicles that were stopped as a result of the stopped school bus. One vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
