On December 11, 2019 at 11:25 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Middle Road at East Hardies Road for a two vehicle collision. Upon the responding officers' arrival, they located both involved vehicles blocking the roadway, with one operator complaining of injury. The crash was said to have occurred when the operator of one vehicle exited East Hardies Road without proper clearance and struck an oncoming vehicle that was traveling south on Middle Road. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene.
