On February 29, 2020 at 4:54 p.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Route 8, near Clearview Road, for a three vehicle accident. Upon the officer’s arrival, they were advised that the accident occurred when one vehicle crossed over the double yellow line, striking another vehicle traveling the opposite direction. The collision caused a debris field, which then caused damage to a third vehicle traveling behind one of the involved vehicles. Two vehicles were towed from the scene due to sustained damage.
