On December 6, 2014 at 9:53 AM Hampton Twp Police were dispatched to Rt 8 at Mt Royal Blvd for a 3 vehicle accident and that on of the vehicles had fled the scene. Upon arrival, Officers learned that 2 vehicles stopped on Rt 8 at Mt Royal Blvd when another vehicle rear ended them. The suspect vehicle was described and it was being operated by a white male wearing a ball cap. The vehicle fled the scene after it pulled onto Mount Royal Blvd. The plate number of the suspect vehicle was obtained and the vehicle was located. The driver showed signs of being intoxicated and was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI.
