On April 26, 2020 at 5:43 p.m. Hampton Township Police responded to Lee Drive for a motor vehicle accident. The reporting party stated that a vehicle had crashed into a yard and drove through a fence. Upon the officer’s arrival, they located the vehicle in question occupied by one individual. The officer observed signs of impairment while speaking with the operator. During the accident investigation, the individual was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. The operator was asked to submit to field sobriety tests, which they were unable to complete as explained and demonstrated. The operator was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
