On May 27, 2020 at 11:44 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Route 8, at Anderson Drive, for a two vehicle accident. The accident was said to have occurred when one vehicle was stopped in the southbound passing lane, waiting to turn left onto Anderson Drive, when it was struck from behind. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
