On August 4, 2020 at 1:48 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Wildwood Road for a report of a transformer on fire. Upon arrival, the responding officer found that a power line had fallen in a wooded area, which resulted in a brush fire. Hampton Township Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire and Duquesne Light Co. responded to fix the power lines.
