On August 18, 2020 at 1:45 p.m., a Hampton Township officer observed a two vehicle accident occur on Route 8. The accident occurred when a truck that was towing a trailer attempted to change lanes from the northbound curb lane to the passing lane. In doing so, the trailer struck another vehicle that was traveling in the passing lane. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
