On August 30, 2020 at 7:54 p.m., Hampton Township Police and Fire Department were dispatched to Sample Court for a power line that was reported to have caught tree branches on fire. Upon their arrival, officers observed an active fire resulting from the live wires. The fire remained contained and Duquesne Light Company arrived on scene, disabled the power, and fixed the issue.
