On December 6, 2020 at 1:40 p.m., a Hampton Township officer was on patrol when they came upon a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Middle Road and East Hardies Road. The accident was said to have occurred when one driver was traveling on East Hardies Road, and as they came to the intersection, they did not ensure that both lanes of travel on Middle Road were clear before proceeding into the intersection. The vehicle struck an oncoming vehicle that was traveling south on Middle Road. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
