On December 12, 2020 at 12:31 p.m., Hampton Township officers responded to a three vehicle accident on Route 8 and East Bardonner Road. Upon the officers arrival, they located the three vehicles in the roadway. The accident was said to have occurred when one vehicle was stopped in the southbound lane of Route 8 in the passing lane waiting to turn left onto East Bardonner Road. The operator of a second vehicle attempted to go around the vehicle by merging into the right lane. The vehicle operator failed to see a third vehicle traveling in the right lane, resulting in a collision between the three vehicles. All vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to sustained damage.
