On April 25, 2021 at 2:21 a.m., a Hampton Township officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Route 8 after observing the vehicle was being operated on the roadway with expired PA inspection/emissions. Upon making contact with the vehicle operator, they displayed signs of impairment. After failing to complete field sobriety tests as had been explained and demonstrated, the operator was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
