On December 24, 2014 at 5:30 PM Hampton Twp Police responded to Rt.8, in front of Aldi, for a hit and run that just occurred. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the complainant and she stated that she was stopped on Rt. 8, northbound, when a black pick up struck the rear of her vehicle and fled the scene. There was no registration available. The vehicle sustained moderate rear end damage but was able to be driven from the scene. No serious injuries were reported.
