July Council Meeting Actions

Hampton Township Council held their Regular Meeting on Wednesday, July 28th; actions from the meeting included:

  • Conducted a public hearing regarding the proposed Implementable Comprehensive Plan
  • Renewed the Hampton Community Library operations agreement for a five-year term
  • Renewed the Hampton Community Library personnel agreement for a one-year term
  • Accepted the proposal from Trans Associates in the amount of $5,200 to conduct a railroad quiet zone study
  • Certified the new Police Sergeant's eligibility list
  • Promoted Robert Grondwalski to the rank of Police Sergeant
  • Authorized the re-allocation of monies within the Capital Improvement Budget for the purpose of completing repairs to the DCS garage
  • Authorized to replace DCS Truck #20 that was totaled in an accident in the amount of $189,718.20, including an insurance reimbursement totaling $68,435.08
  • Authorized to replace DCS Truck #18 with a 2022 Peterbuilt in the amount of $210,486.20 through the Capital Improvement Fund Budget
  • Enacted Ordinance No. 843 updating the Township's Zoning Ordinance, relating to domestic chickens, political signs on private property, and miscellaneous non-substantive edits.  Ordinance 843 can be viewed here; all changes are highlighted
  • Adopted the Implementable Comprehensive Plan
  • Authorized public hearings for the Bella Coop Conditional Use (21-17) and the North Park Sports Complex Conditional Use (21-18)
