On July 10, 2021 at 5:20a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of Mount Royal Boulevard and Hampton Avenue for a report of a possible water main break causing water to puddle on Mount Royal Boulevard. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed there was a water main break and that it was not on the roadway or causing a traffic hazard. Allegheny County Dispatched notified Hampton Shaler Water Authority of the break. Officers remained on the scene until Hampton Shaler Water Authority arrived.
