On July 26, 2021 at 9:15 a.m., a resident contacted the Hampton Township Police Department to report identity theft. The resident stated that a Chase bank account was opened in their name using their personal information. The resident called Chase to close the bank account and was advised to contact the credit bureaus and closely monitor their financial accounts.
