On September 1, 2021 at 8:02a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of Wildwood Road and Au Sable Drive for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. The accident occurred when the one vehicle was attempting to turn their car around, due to Wildwood Road being closed, and backed into the other vehicle. Minor damage was observed on both of the vehicles and both were able to be driven from the scene.
