Hampton Township Council held their Regular Meeting on Wednesday, January 26th; actions from the meeting included:
- Tabled appointments to the Zoning Hearing Board, Environmental Advisory Council, and Hampton Community Association
- Appointed Richard Dunlap to an unexpired term on the Hampton Shaler Water Authority Board
- Adopted Resolution No. 1059 establishes rates for engineering services for Gateway Engineers
- Authorized the transfer of $125,000 from the 2021 year-end Operating Budget surplus to the Capital Improvement Budget
- Appointed the Fire Police for the Hampton Township #1 and North Hampton Volunteer Fire Departments
- Authorized the advertisement for bids regarding the Water Pollution Control Plant Sludge Hauling Contract
- Authorized the advertisement for a public hearing related to the Strickland Brothers Conditional Use application for February 23, 2022 (proposing to redevelop the property at 4768 Route 8, to include the demolition of the existing vacant commercial building and the construction of a new 1,770 square foot quick-service oil change station)
- Authorized the advertisement of an ordinance taking over the road and storm sewer improvements, with the exception of the detention pond, for the Hampton Place development
