On March 11, 2022 at 10:42a.m., Hampton Township Officers were dispatched to 4700 Block of William Flinn Highway for a report of a two vehicle accident. Upon arrival, both vehicles were located in the parking lot of Firestone. The accident occurred as one vehicle was traveling southbound on William Flinn Highway in the lane left . The driver looked down at their phone, causing them to fail to see a stopped vehicle ahead. This distraction caused the operator to strike the rear of the other vehicle. Officers confirmed there were no injuries and both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene.
