On 11/05/2022 at 1:26a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of Middle Rd. and Wildwood Rd. Ext. for a vehicle that had crashed into a guide rail. County dispatch advised the vehicle had multiple airbag deployments and possible entrapment. Upon arrival, officers observed the involved vehicle crashed into a guide rail on Middle Rd. The vehicle had air bag deployment throughout the entire vehicle. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was not entrapped and was able to open the door to speak with officers. The driver had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person and breath while speaking with officers. The driver stated that he fell asleep at the wheel while driving and didn't know he crashed his vehicle into the guide rail. The driver was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI. Leo's Towing was notified to remove the vehicle from the roadway.
