On 11/09/2022 at 3:55p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to West Hardies Road for a report of leaves on fire in the yard. Upon arrival, North Hampton VFD had already stopped the fire from spreading. They brought their engine to the scene to ensure the fire was fully out. The homeowner advised that he was mowing the lawn when leaves caught on fire due to getting stuck in the mower.
