On 11/17/2022 at 09:57 a.m. Hampton Township Police was dispatched to Old Route 8 for a gas leak. County dispatch stated that Duquesne Light struck a gas line at this associated address. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the project site foreman. Equipment operators on scene struck a gas line while using a piece of equipment. Officers were able to notify the home-owner and Peoples Gas arrived on scene to fix the issue.
