On 11/24/2022 at 8:04p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of Haberlein Rd. and Mohawk Dr. for a vehicle accident. The caller reported that a pickup truck had crashed approximately 6 feet over a hillside/ditch. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the driver of the vehicle, who stated that he was not injured. The driver stated that he had just left his son's house for Thanksgiving and was on his way home. The driver stated that he has some trouble seeing at night and that the lights from an oncoming vehicle had temporarily blinded him. Due to this, he failed to negotiate a slight curve in the road and crashed his vehicle over a small hillside. The vehicle was towed from the hillside.
