On 12/08/2022 at 5:55 p.m., Hampton Police were dispatched to the area of Aldi's (4578 Route 8) for reports of a vehicle accident, unknown injuries with fluid in the road. Responding officers spoke to involved parties who advised that one operator was attempting to make a left turn out of the Aldi's lot onto Route 8 southbound. A truck in the right northbound lane reportedly stopped to let them out. Another vehicle was traveling in the left northbound lane at the time and the vehicles collided. One vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
