On 01/28/2023 at 10:43 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of East Hardies Road for a report of an intoxicated driver. The reporting party stated they heard a disturbance outside and observed a vehicle strike a bunch of mailboxes and was swerving on the roadway traveling on East Hardies Road heading towards East Bardonner Road. Upon arrival to the area, the responding officer observed multiple mailboxes, debris and fluids on the roadway heading eastbound. The officer followed the path of debris and located the vehicle in question. The vehicle had heavy front end damage and had mailboxes and various debris stuck underneath it. The operator showed visible signs of impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest.
