The Township of Hampton has once again been recognized as a Banner Community by Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and the Allegheny County League of Municipalities for 2023.
The Banner Community Program, now in its 11th year, recognizes municipalities such as Hampton that have focused their operations on professional development, prudent fiscal management, transparency, accountability and proactive communications. This work, in turn, engages community stakeholders.
“This designation is the result of the countless hours of public service work that Township Councilmembers and Controller Jerry Speakman have put in over this past year. It is the little things behind the scenes that they do to make Hampton the special community that it is, especially for its residents”, said Township Municipal Manager, W. Christopher Lochner.
For more information on what it takes for the Township to be eligible for the Program, please read the attached Press Release.
