On 05/28/2023 at 10:51 pm, Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Mount Royal Blvd at Sample Road for a two vehicle crash with unknown injuries. Upon arrival, officers confirmed no injuries. Both vehicles were damaged because of the crash. The accident was said to have occurred when the operator of one vehicle which was being driven south on Mount Royal Boulevard went to turn right onto Sample Road striking the front left headlight of the vehicle at the stop sign on Sample Rd,
Responding officers observed one of the drivers displaying visible signs of impairment and after investigation of the accident, the operator was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
