[ARCHIVED] Road Rage

On June 6, 2023, a motorist came to the Hampton Township Police Station to report a road rage incident. The motorist stated she was traveling northbound on William Flinn Highway near Duncan Avenue when she accidentally cut a vehicle off going into the left hand lane. As she continued north, the vehicle followed her very closely as she went into various businesses. Considering the circumstance, she drove to the Hampton Police Station, and the vehicle continued to follow her as she took a few laps around the station and Community Center. She then parked at the station and called 911 and was met by a Hampton Police Officer.

The other vehicle had left the area but was identified by their registration plate. When contacted, the operator stated he only wanted to speak with the female about cutting him off. He was advised how upset the female was and advised to not follow people to speak with them about road rage incidents.
